      Continuing the milestones of the country’s No.1 motorcycle model, the XRM, comes another breed designed for Urban Ride - The New XRM 125 – RS (Road Sport). Launched last November 29, 2008 at the SM Mall of ASIA music hall, this new model is set to continue the XRM legacy in leading the motorcycle culture in the Philippines.

    Over 300 Exclusive Honda Riders from all over Metro Manila together with HPI dealers from the three major regions, suppliers and other media partners attended the event. HPI’s top officials Amb. Benjamin Sanvictores, Chairman of the Board & Mr. Kazuhiko Ikezoe, President & General Manager formally opened the event as they delivered their welcome and inspirational remarks. Product introduction was also conducted by Mr. Elmer Oane, PR Manager before the unveiling.

   Ms. Bianca Gonzales, hosted the event as Honda riders Bryan Ortile, Herbert Lopez and Janelle Saulog led the product unveiling of the 3 color variants of the new XRM – RS; pearl magellanic black, spectrolite blue metallic and autumn orange metallic - (exclusive only for Honda 3S Dealers).

    The event ended with a live band performance by one of the country’s top band group “The Dawn”.

   There was also a three - day mall exhibit and Free Test Ride where motorcycle enthusiasts had a test of the new XRM – RS excellent riding and maneuverability. The exhibit included Honda’s full model motorcycle line – up plus big bikes such as CB1300 Super Bol d’ Or, CBR 1000rr, DN – 01 and CB 750.

  The successful launch proves once again that XRM is still the no.1 and Honda is the most trusted brand in the market.
